Meditate
There are many studies that have proven that meditation changes our brain. It changes our nature, it is a powerful tool that is easily accessible. There are as many different ways to mediate as there are practitioners. You can start a daily routine of meditating before bed for 30 minutes but you don't have that time, a simple 5-10 minutes of quieting your mind has just the same effect. You can start with focusing on your breath or you may meditate laying down with calming music playing in the background. Be kind with yourself when you first start your mediation practice. Be consistent, sit as often as you can. It should be uniquely yours and easy enough that you would want to do it daily. As you build your practice, you will start to see the profound effects it has on you. Be patient, be kind and always be self-aware.
