As an energetic being, it is important that you continue to supply yourself with fresh and clean energy. When negative energy enters your energy field, you will first feel it physically. You will feel "ill", you may experience headaches, coughing, sneezing, you may feel dyhadrated, these are all physical reaction to the negative energy. The emotional reaction will be a sudden feeling of being low, sad or even fatigue. There are many different ways to protect yourself and here are just a sample of them.
1. Stay grounded and balanced. Meditation is the easiest form of practice to achieve this.
2. Cleanse with salt bath. It is an astringent that pulls out impurities and gently clears the aura and detox’s the body.
3. Smudge with sage or palo santo. You can also smudge your physical space like homes and offices.
4. Go outside to nature. The highest and purest energy source is all around in nature.
5. Prayer or chanting. Use your throat chakra to connect to the highest self.
